Biomapper C1 deployed on Metis

Metis, a permissionless Ethereum Layer 2 network aiming to enhance scalability, speed, and storage efficiency, was one of the first blockchains to have its DAO vote Humanode as a Community Verified Project, back in May of 2025.

As a reply to the “love letter” from the Metis community, Humanode has made the Biomapper C1 SDK available on Andromeda Metis, giving the power to the Metis Builders to build Sybil-resistant dApps on the Metis chain utilizing Humanode Biomapper.

As many know by now, Biomapper is one of the core functions of Humanode, which allows a user to privately and securely tie their biometrics to an EVM address, proving that they are a unique human being, not a bot, a deepfake, a mask, or a photograph. No need to go through a cumbersome KYC process just to prove that you are a unique user who is alive. This is achieved through privacy-preserving cryptobiometric verification, so while you prove you are a unique human being, none of your private biometric data is given out to anyone, not even Humanode, in the process.

For builders utilizing Biomapper, there are two important points to keep in mind.  The first is that it is extremely simple to integrate Biomapper into your project.  In fact, it is only a matter of a few lines of code.  The second point is to keep in mind that the Biomapper database is completely wiped every six months or so for the upgrade of the biometric engines, and to preserve the privacy of the users.  Yes, that means your users will need to go through the 15-second process to “re-tie” their biometrics to their account to continue to have access.
