A major highlight of HumanodeCon24 was the debate exploring equitable governance in decentralized systems. The discussion focused on whether a "one person, one node" structure can ensure fairness, opportunity, and Sybil resistance. Two teams discussed the challenges and possibilities of this governance model, while the audience voted on the outcome with a "one person, one vote" mechanism, mirroring the philosophy under discussion. Well, here it is! BotBasher for Telegram is now live in Alpha.

What is BotBasher?

It’s a tool that ensures only real humans—no bots, no fake accounts—can join designated Sybil-resistant Telegram channels. Users go through a 15-second biometric authentication that ties their face to a single Telegram account. One account, one human.

Humanode’s BotBasher for Telegram keeps data encrypted, anonymized, and secure - ensuring Sybil resistance without KYC or personal info and full anonymity. Read the article to learn how BotBasher keeps things private and secure. 

🌊 A new WeHMND/USDC pool is now live

As you know, the current WeHMND/USDC LP staking contract (0xe48Cc340B8f1AC0a326577B3c2d1Fe5229ebb1c2) ends on Nov 29, 2024.

But here’s the good news - we’ve deployed a new WeHMND/USDC pool that goes live at block 10449390 (10:40 AM UTC on Nov 29), perfectly timed with the end of the current contract.

If you’re staked in the current pool, you’ll need to move your assets to the new one to continue earning rewards. No additional rewards will be issued to the current pool after it ends, but you can still claim the rewards you’ve already earned.

Make sure to move your assets to the new pool to keep earning rewards without interruption.

🎮Catacomb Crawlers is launching as the first Sybil-resistant game under Humanode incubation

Catacomb Crawlers, a mobile roguelike survival, will be the first game to launch on the Humanode chain integrating in-game NFTs, marketplace, and utilizing Humanode’s biomapper to combat Sybil attacks on rewards. 

Players will only need to prove they are unique real humans when they enter the marketplace to trade tokens for in-game assets or other rewards.
