Humanode Community Call Recap Vol.9

Humanode Community Call Recap Vol.9

As spring is the herald of new growth, the breezes of confirmation that wafted through the Community Call were firm promises of fresh growth in Humanode.

Unlike the previous calls, this one focused on current and future development and its implementation.  Although some details will be left out of this report, as they were shared exclusively with those who attended (don’t worry, once the news hits, we will share it with all), we shall go over a quick overview.

First and foremost, proto-Vortex.  The initial testing and debugging phase has concluded, and we shall move to the “live” testing phase as we launch proto-Vortex for operation.  Some time this week, the Humanode Core will once again be resetting and relaunching proto-Vortex, and proto-Vortex will go live.

All active human nodes (Validators) are encouraged to participate in this journey and take the steps to become voting members of Vortex and take the steps to become governors.

It was made clear during this call that human nodes at the genesis of Vortex (during this proto-Vortex) will be given unprecedented opportunities to participate, and will have obvious advantages over the governors who may join at a later date (earlier participation = earlier ranking up + more proof of time + more proof of devotion).  Thus, if you want to have a voice in the future of Humanode, participate as an equal owner of the network, and reap the potential incentives that are being considered, don’t forget to sign in as soon as proto-Vortex launches this week.

A new program under development was also discussed.  Although the name is not set yet, this program will be for onboarding new users and new human nodes to the community and ecosystem.  It is being designed as a “game-like” experience, with a comprehensive and interactive UX/UI.

Team members did a walk-through of the “Hub”, featuring its ease of use and how it centralizes the user interface of a highly decentralized system.

And finally, aside from the discussions concerning the direction that Humanode should take when it comes to incentives for proto-Vortex, in the spirit of keeping our contest culture alive, we also discussed what we will do for the next Humanode Contest (Yes, we have a good idea about what we will do for the Contest, and it will be shared with the community in the next few weeks). The Humanode Music Mix that we plan to share on Spotify was also briefly discussed.

Remember, everyone in the community is welcome to join us for the Community Calls to listen in, ask questions, or join us on stage to discuss the matters at hand, questions you may have, or concerns.   See you all again next Saturday on the 10th Community Call!
