Humanode Testnet 4 “Gaghiel” is live

Hello, human nodes and friends!

The Humanode core team is happy to announce that Testnet version 4, "Gaghiel," has been launched.

After the successful test of Grandpa-enabled Testnet 3 "Ramiel," "Gaghiel" is the next step toward the launch of Humanode Mainnet this quarter.

The primary goal of Testnet 4 is to test the Token claims, vesting, and unlocking system that we will also be using to distribute tokens at TGE. We invite everyone to try the token vesting and claiming system. It will bring tremendous value to our devs as they'd be able to iron out all the bugs that might pop up!

How to claim the Tokens?

To test the token claim and vesting system, go to the testnet 4 tokens claim page: https://token-claims.testnet4.stages.humanode.io/  and fill in the required information.

Once all is done, you can check and verify your balance in your polkadot.js apps: https://polkadot.js.org/apps/?rpc=wss://explorer-rpc-ws.testnet4.stages.humanode.io#/explorer

Note: If you have participated in the previous testnets and mapped your addresses to an Ethereum address for the Public Sale, you will have some tokens allocated for you in this testnet's genesis. Also, the vesting and cliff period will last 10 days at maximum, and since it's randomly assigned, it might last earlier than that for some accounts.

Since our main goal for Testnet 4 is to test the token claims and vesting period, running a node in testnet 4 isn't compulsory. However, Gaghiel is open to everyone. You can now download and run your node in Tesnet 4 using this guide: https://link.humanode.io/testnet4.

If you face any trouble while setting up the node, go through our troubleshooting guide: https://link.humanode.io/troubleshooting

Thanks,

Humanode Core
