Formation is becoming one of the core parts of the Vortex, a system for building, funding, and collaborating, open to every bioauthorized human node. Biostaking continues to run strong, connecting identity and value through liveness itself. Every node is not just a machine in the network but a living validator of trust — staking not capital alone, but presence.

Beyond our own chain, the team has been exploring Humanity Protocol, an ambitious new approach to anti-Sybil verification. Each experiment in this field — from proof-of-human systems to decentralized ID — moves us closer to a plural yet authentic digital humanity.

Behind the scenes, the biometric layer has been refreshed. Humanode mainnet biometric servers were updated and reset. Please re-enroll and re-authenticate to keep your node running smoothly; no key rotation is needed. BotBasher and Biomapper verifications remain intact, and all previous encrypted biometric data has been permanently erased. Biomapper servers have also been updated following CVM rotations. If you’re biomapped or staking LP tokens, re-Biomap to stay verified and keep your rewards active.

Meanwhile, Sasha Shilina’s new essay Sybil and the Machine: Myth, Multiplicity, and the Crisis of Verification takes us somewhere stranger. In Web3, “Sybil” means fraud — one pretending to be many. But in the ancient myth, the Sibyl was never a trickster. She was a multitude, a chorus of voices, alive and contradictory. The essay asks what happens when proof of liveness meets the plurality of human identity. Can our systems tell a choir from a ventriloquist?

Please note that you do not need to rotate the keys; however, you must re-enroll.

All previous encrypted biometric data is deleted forever during this process.

Each staker verifies once through Biomapper and earns rewards through a nonlinear model that keeps returns balanced for both small and large LPs, with yields ranging from 100% to 200% depending on liquidity.

Every LP adds depth to the network, keeping trading stable across DEXs deployed on Humanode.

Three pools are live now: WeHMND/USDC, WeHMND/WBTC, and WeHMND/WETH.
