Humanode Biweekly vol.97

Biomapper C1 SDK now live on Nibiru and Hemi; SRGATE vs Google, Apple, Worldcoin; DAOs need new rules - token voting is broken; Humanode now has a Wikipedia page; Community Interview #2: Caraka; Founders Talk on May 16, and more.
TL;DR
Hey everyone,
We’re back with another round of updates, and as always — a lot is happening across the Humanode ecosystem. From cross-chain expansions to new publications and community highlights, here’s what we’ve been working on over the past two weeks.
On the development front, our team has continued refining the core infrastructure. Substrate upgrades are underway to further optimize the Humanode network, and the Mainnet website is recieving a fresh redesign to make the experience smoother and more intuitive for new and returning users alike.
One of the biggest updates is the ongoing rollout of Cross-Chain Biomapping, which is now live across multiple networks, including Manta, Scroll, Arbitrum, Janction testnet, Hyperliquid and Story (don’t forget Sonic, Sei, Base, Filecoin, and Avalanche)
On that note, we’re excited to announce that Biomapper c1 is now deployed on Nibiru. Nibiru is a high-performance blockchain ecosystem with a MultiVM architecture and EVM-equivalent execution. Builders on Nibiru can now integrate the Humanode Biomapper c1 SDK directly into their dApps with just a few lines of code, enabling secure, private, Sybil-resistant user authentication — no KYC needed. This means one-user, one-account systems are now easier than ever to implement, whether you’re building financial services, human-only chat platforms, or games.
We’ve also deployed Biomapper c1 on Hemi, a modular blockchain built for scaling and interoperability, powered by both Bitcoin and Ethereum. Similar to the Nibiru integration, builders on Hemi can now plug in Biomapper to enable Sybil-resistant, privacy-preserving identity verification across their apps and services.
If you’re a builder interested in adding Biomapper to your app, check out our developer documentation. It only takes a few lines of code to start protecting your platform from bots and Sybil attacks.
We’ve also published two important pieces recently.
The first explores why DAOs need to rethink governance. Let’s be honest, token-based voting isn’t working. Big wallets dominate, voter participation is low, and influence can be bought. We think it’s time to stop pretending this model is enough and explore better alternatives — ones that prioritize equality and real human input.
The second article is a comparison of login solutions titled "One Pass to Rule Them All". Everyone’s talking about decentralized identity, but few projects are actually building something that’s private, Sybil-resistant, cross-platform, and not controlled by a single entity. We compared Google, Apple, BrightID, Worldcoin, Gitcoin Passport, and SRGate, and showed where SRGate fits into the picture. Spoiler: most systems fail on at least one of these fronts. SRGate aims to succeed at all four.
On the community side, we’re excited to bring back Founders Talk this Friday, May 16th at 14:00 UTC. It’s been a while, and we’ve got something a little different this time — no spoilers, but if you’ve been following Humanode, you’ll definitely want to tune in. You’ll find us live on X, YouTube, Humanode Announcements Telegram Channel, and Discord.
Also, we’re proud to see that Humanode now has an official Wikipedia page. If you’ve ever struggled to explain Humanode to a friend, you now have a wiki link to share. It’s one more step toward making the concept of biometric Sybil resistance and one-human-one-node governance accessible to the wider world.
Lastly, our second Human Node Interview just dropped — this time with Caraka, a student, dev, and solo node runner who discovered Humanode through an airdrop and stuck around for the vision. We talked about fairness, accessibility, and the power of building from the edges. You can read the full interview on our blog.
That’s all for now — as always, thank you for being part of this journey. We’re building something truly different, and it wouldn’t be possible without you.
See you next time!

⛓️ Cross-chain Biomapping
🫧 Biomapper c1 deployed on Nibiru
Nibiru, already leveraging Sybil-resistance through BotBasher, is now integrating Humanode Biomapper’s c1 SDK to enhance its cryptobiometrics-based Sybil-resistance.
Builders on Nibiru, a high-performance blockchain ecosystem featuring an EVM-equivalent execution engine, parallel execution, and a novel MultiVM architecture, are now able to utilize Biomapper for Sybil-resistance by only adding a few lines of code.
For those of you who have not experienced Biomapper yet, it is one of the core functions of Humanode that allows a user to privately and securely tie their biometrics to a wallet or user account, proving that you are a unique human being, not a bot, a deepfake, a mask, or a photograph. No need to go through a cumbersome KYC process just to prove that you are a unique user who is alive. This is achieved through privacy-preserving cryptobiometric verification.
No need to worry about your biometric identity being stolen, as all the system checks is if you are already in the system or not, and no one has access to your private biometric data, not even Nibiru or Humanode.
Builders will be able to build one-user, one-account systems for their applications or services, human-only chat rooms, or SNS services, one-user, one-account financial applications, or games. In short, Biomapper is the proven path to gain Sybil-resistance.
For those interested in adding Biomapper to your built apps or have brand new ideas for possible services or applications you can build, check out the SDK and the developer's guide below!
🟠 Biomapper c1 deployed on Hemi
The Biomapper c1 SDK is now available on Hemi, a modular blockchain built for superior scaling, security, and interoperability that is powered by Bitcoin and Ethereum. Hemi builders now able to utilize the Humanode Biomapper to enhance their Sybil-resistance when building their applications and services.
One user, one account? Yes, with ease. No need to set up cumbersome KYC procedures. Sybil-resistant gaming, DeFi services? That is what Biomapper was built for.
Previously:
🧿 Biomapper c1 deployed on Manta
The Biomapper c1 SDK is available on Manta, the go-to multi-modular ecosystem. No matter how two-faced a user can be, unless they biologically have two faces, one user, one account can be made the standard with just a few lines of code for those who build on Manta.
📙 Here’s how to integrate Sybil resistance with just a few lines of code.
📜 Biomapper c1 deployed on Scroll
For those who do not know what Scroll is, Scroll is a leading zero-knowledge rollup actively building the Open Economy for everyone, everywhere. It leverages fast finality and high throughput, with the goal of creating a more accessible and secure on-chain future that ascends beyond the current limitations and drives real-world impact.
📙 Here's how to add Proof of Personhood with just a few lines of code using Biomapper.

📅 Why do Biomapper Generations change every six months?
Ever wondered why Biomapper switches generations every 6 months? It's about protecting data privacy, staying ahead of cyber threats, and ensuring active users. This means wiping old CVMs, renewing security keys, and refreshing smart contracts. Here's the complete breakdown.
🤳How to Biomap
Whether you're verifying for the first time or bridging your biomap, Humanode Biomapper keeps it simple, and convenient; connect your wallet, do a quick face scan, sign a message, and you're verified. Here’s a step-by-step breakdown of how to Biomap.
🤝Integrations
🤖 BotBasher is still here. Still free. Still bashing bots
With the emergence of Biomapper c1, it is easy to forget about another one of Humanode’s champions of Sybil-resistance, BotBasher.
For those new to BotBasher, BotBasher is a tool provided by Humanode that enables Sybil-resistance on both Discord and Telegram. It is not only free to use, but it can save the servers and users from headaches of having to fight bots, scammers, and spammers.
Want to create a chat that is not filled with bots or multi-accounts? Tired of Sybil attacks? Want to do Sybil-resistant airdrops or whitelisting?
Interested in Sybil-resistant community gatherings, lectures, and AMA’s? Interested in learning how many real users your server or project actually has? Here is your reminder.
Publications
Why DAOs need to rethink governance beyond tokens?
Token voting sounded cool at first. But let’s be honest, it’s broken.
Big wallets run the show. Most people don’t even bother voting.
And when influence can be rented or bribed... what are we even doing?
Maybe it’s time we stop pretending this works and try something better.
One Pass to Rule Them All – A comparison between SRGATE and other Login solutions
Everyone talks about "decentralized identity." But who’s actually building a login that’s private, Sybil-resistant, and works across Web2 and Web3?
We broke down Google, Apple, BrightID, Worldcoin, Gitcoin Passport…And where SRGate fits in.
Most login systems fail at one or more of these:
– No real Sybil resistance
– Centralized control
– Weak privacy guarantees
– No cross-platform support
SRGate aims to fix all four. Check out full comparison.

🗺️ Roadmap
✨ The Road to Humanode ver. 1.0
Now, we’re taking the next leap with Humanode ver. 1.0, laying down the foundation for a truly decentralized, Sybil-resistant future.
The Four Pillars of Humanode ver. 1.0
♦️ SRGate – A universal identity for Web3
♦️ Vortex – The governance body where 1 human = 1 vote
♦️ True Decentralization – Growing from 1,500 to 10,000 nodes on the path to 1 million
♦️ Ecosystem Growth – More devs, more dApps, more adoption
LP Staking
🚀🌱The WBTC/WeHMND biostaking pool on Impossible Finance DEX
You can pair WBTC with WeHMND, add liquidity, biomap and stake your LP tokens to provide liquidity to the Humanode network and get non-linear rewards.
Here’s what you need to know:
- As always, APR depends on your size: the smaller your share of the liquidity pool, the more % you get.
- You can now pair your WBTC (Wrapped BTC) with WeHMND (Wrapped eHMND) tokens to provide liquidity and stake your LP tokens. There is almost 0 liquidity as of now, keep an eye on the DEX prices.
- The staking period ends in 6 months, and rewards are the same as the WETH/WeHMND pool.
