Dear human nodes,

Running a node on Humanode has never been just about uptime. You're not a server, you’re a sovereign signal in a living, breathing network of equals. And in this update, we’re excited to share what’s been moving behind the scenes and how your participation is shaping the future.

First, the big one: we’ve launched Proof-of-Polls (PoP), a new validator fee structure designed to recognize not only operational uptime, but governance participation. If you complete 84/84 epochs and vote in the weekly validator Discord poll, you’ll receive the full $25/month reward. If you skip the poll, you’ll still earn $12/month, enough to cover basic infrastructure, but not the full reward. It’s a simple shift, but a meaningful one. Governance isn’t passive; it’s earned. And we’re already seeing the signal: in the very first validator poll, 861 of 1,400 active human nodes voted. That’s over 60% participation. And it’s just the beginning.

This marks the first real step toward Vortex, our upcoming DAO structure. With it, we’re building a governance model where your role grows through Proof of Time, Devotion, and Participation, not capital. Every human node has a vote, but proposal power is something you cultivate. From Nominee to Citizen, the Vortex Blueprint lays out a future where identity, continuity, and care shape the voice you have in the system.

Meanwhile, technical progress has been moving fast. Cross-Chain Biomapping is now live on Hemi, Nibiru, Arbitrum Story, Avalanche, Base, Filecoin, Sei, and Sonic—with more integrations coming soon. Virax is nearly ready for deployment. Work has officially begun on Vortex DAO, and our mainnet website has received a full redesign—sleeker, faster, and more intuitive. On the UX side, we’re rolling out improvements to streamline and humanize the user journey from end to end.

If you're part of our LP staking program, we’ve launched a new WeHMND/USDC staking contract with the same nonlinear model and 14,400 WeHMND/day in rewards over the next six months. If you’re currently staked in the previous pool, you’ll need to unstake and restake in the new contract to continue earning rewards. No new rewards will accumulate in the old pool, but previously earned ones are still claimable. New to Biostaking? Now’s a great time to jump in APRs currently range between 20% and 200%.

Beyond protocol updates, we’ve been thinking a lot about identity and Sybil resistance. In the first piece of a new publication series, we take a look at Proof of Humanity, an experimental protocol that aligns with our goals of building Sybil resistance without sacrificing decentralization, and verifying uniqueness without handing identity over to a surveillance regime. Bots and fake users are breaking airdrops, DAOs, and social platforms. The web is at a tipping point—and it’s going to take a league of interoperable solutions to restore trust.

That’s why Humanode isn’t just for DeFi or DAOs, it’s for dating apps too. In 2024 alone, romance scams affected over 64,000 people, resulting in $1 billion in losses. As AI-generated faces and fake accounts flood social platforms, Humanode can help verify real users with privacy-preserving biometrics. No personal data, no centralized database, just proof that you’re a real, unique human.

That's why we’re introducing Proof-of-Polls (PoP)

i. Hit 84/84 epochs and vote in the weekly Discord poll? You get the full $25/month.

ii. Skip the poll? You get $12. Enough to cover infra. But not the full reward.

The results for the very first validator poll are in!

And pleasantly surprising, 861 out of 1400 active human nodes tied their verified Discord accounts and voted, that’s over 60% participation in the very first round. And it’s just the beginning. And we expect more human nodes to participate as we move forward.

Reminder: According to the new validator fee structure, to receive the full $25 validator reward, Human nodes must:

* Achieve 84/84 epochs

* Tie your verified Discord account to your node

* Vote weekly in #validator-polls Discord channel

Those who just complete 84/84 epochs will receive $12 (enough to cover basic cloud costs).

The polls may be simple for now, but they’re the first real step toward Vortex (Humanode DAO).

LP Staking

🚀🌱The new WeHMND/USDC LP staking contract

The latest WeHMND/USDC LP staking contract (0x8632A3F26E3F474dB076Be861745B0261C6ce72f) is live now. Same 14,400 WeHMND/day as rewards, same nonlinear staking model, for 6 months.

If you are staked in the previous pool:

1. You’ll need to unstake and restake your LP tokens in the latest contract.

2. Rewards will start rolling in as soon as you stake to the new contract.

No additional rewards will be issued for the previous poll. However, you’ll still be able to claim the rewards you have already earned.

Make sure to move your assets to the new pool to keep earning rewards without interruption.

If you are new to Humanode Biostaking, the new pool is a chance to get started, with APRs ranging between 20% - 200%.
