Humanode Launches Ecosystem Funding Program
[Oct 4th, 2024] Why has the Humanode team been so quiet? What are they working on besides updates? Well, the time has come to let the cat out of the bag and announce the Ecosystem Funding Program to support and nurture the next generation of Sybil-resistant projects on its chain that we have been preparing!
This program will kick off with the initial focus on consumer DApps to be launched on the Humanode chain that have the potential to reach one million humans!
To some people, that goal may seem small, I mean, there are plenty of DApps with tens of millions, if not hundreds of millions of users right?
Welp, the key here is that this will be on the Humanode EVM, using cryptobiometrics for Sybil resistance. So yeah, the one million users here means one million unique users, not one million accounts created by 57 users and 300 bots.
As we have always said, we firmly believe that by introducing Sybil resistance using private and secure biometrics to its ecosystem, we will be launching the dawn of new business models in which every user matters, and every user counts! Goodbye to the markets dominated by “fictional user counts” and “fake accounts” which are the root cause of a whole lot of the issues that Web3 projects face. Making them less attractive to both users and investors.
The projects that we will select to join, will not only receive funds to build their projects, but our founders and members of the Core Team will be working side by side with them to realize their projects, giving them fundraising support, technical, media, support in community building, and launch their DApps and beyond. Oh yes, and did we mention funds? The program is a $10 million program, supported by many funds and angels.
Since the team is serious about personally assisting the projects, the Humanode Ecosystem Funding Program will be limited to 5 projects at any given time, and guess what? The first project to join the Program has already been selected.

Catacomb Crawlers, a web3 mobile game in which survivor roguelike gameplay meets competitive brawls in a dark mysterious world, will be joining as the first incubated project. Firstly, the game is just good. We all played it for hours.
What else caught the attention of the Humanode team was not only the fact that Catacomb Crawlers had 200k+ downloads in the first month of their beta launch, just from Web2 ads and KOLs, without expectations of an airdrop.
Even better yet, the creators of the game, Emeroth studio, worked on numerous big title game projects that are household names, such as League of Legends, Mobile Legends, Valorant and Heroes of Newerth. The coolest thing though? Not only does Emeroth studio fully understand the benefits that Sybil resistance will bring to online gaming and their future, but they also plan to fully adopt Humanode for their future projects!
