Subquery now supports data query from both Humanode Substrate and EVM

Subquery now supports both the Humanode substrate and the Humanode EVM chain. This integration allows developers to access and utilize on-chain data from both substrate and EVM versions seamlessly.

SubQuery offers decentralized data indexing infrastructure for developers creating apps on various layer-1 blockchains like Ethereum, the Cosmos ecosystem, Polkadot, Algorand, Avalanche, and Humanode. Being a fast and flexible open data indexer, it assists developers in building APIs quickly and easily index chains with the help of dictionaries (pre-calculated indices).

While previously developers and projects were only able to query and use the onchain data for the Humanode substrate chain.

For instance, they can easily query or build custom APIs to get on-chain data (transfers, bioauthentication events, online validator nodes, etc.) for the apps they want to build. Exchanges can easily retrieve chain data, and users can develop websites, Telegram, or Discord bots that send notifications when bioauthentication is about to expire or build a ranking of human nodes (validators).

Now they can also harness the data from the Humanode EVM version and build APIs to get on-chain data from the Humanode EVM version as well. For instance, they can easily query on-chain data from ERC20 smart contracts deployed on the Humanode EVM such as Token transfers, Contract approvals, etc.

As an example, the Tide protocol, a Web3 marketing engagement platform, has deployed on Humanode and integrated an API to automatically query data on users’ on-chain actions with Subquery. This means that projects on Humanode, or any EVM-compatible project can create quests involving on-chain actions, track users’ activities automatically on the Humanode chain, and utilize our decentralized and low-fee platform for rewards distribution.

To get started with Subquery to query data on Humanode, you can follow the basic setup outlined in the Humanode starter repository.

About Tide

Tide is a Web3 Marketing protocol that provides Web3 projects and dApps all the necessary tools for engaging and rewarding Web3 communities.

Tide's vision is to become the leading application for Web3-powered engagement of users.

About Humanode

Humanode is the first cryptobiometric network where one human = one node = one vote that brings Sybil resistance to the crypto industry using private biometric technology.

Built as an EVM Compatible Layer-1 with a novel Proof-of-Uniqueness and Proof-of-Existence consensus mechanism, Humanode is the most decentralized blockchain to date. Private facial recognition protects against multiple accounts and bots taking advantage of retroactive airdrops, DAOs, DeFi, NFT mints, and GameFi. After just a year from its mainnet launch, Humanode boasts 500,000+ users and 500+ projects utilizing its cryptobiometric tech.
