Starting with the development news first. These past weeks, our devs have been pushing the limits, and bringing you some cool updates. First up, we are making major strides with the BotBasher for Telegram, which is speeding ahead. After deep research into various APIs, we’ve developed an operational Proof of Concept, and testing is about to kick off. At the same time, we’re putting the finishing touches on the Substrate update v0942. Updates have also rolled out to it6 and testnet5, enhancing peer connections, and the Humanode-Robonode it6 has successfully launched.
FaceTec, which plays a key role in Humanode’s biometric system, has been upgraded too. The server is now running version 9.7.52, and the SDK has been updated to version 9.7.29. At the same time, work on upgrading the Humanode OAuth service is moving forward.
Humanode’s BotBasher has been integrated into Voi Network’s Discord, making sure only unique humans are verified and Sybil attackers are filtered out. This not only ensures a level playing field but also boosts user engagement. By completing verification through BotBasher, users can earn a higher score multiplier in Voi Network’s Testnet Phase 2, all while maintaining privacy without requiring KYC or personal data collection.
On the awareness front, our founders Dato and Victor led a conversation called “The Forgotten Values of Crypto”, focusing on the principles that originally inspired the crypto movement. The session invited the community to reflect on how those core values can be brought back today.
Also, a deep dive into its Proof of Biometric Uniqueness (PoBU) is live, breaking down how it prioritizes privacy and identity over capital. In another recent publication, the technical aspects of the system are explored, shedding light on how Humanode’s bioauthentication creates a more equitable and secure consensus.
In the creative space, part 3 of The Book of Aki has just dropped. This Humanode-inspired dystopian novel continues to unfold in the year 2067, where Aki uncovers the fingerprints behind a malicious attack on the Community. As the plot thickens, the initial strike turns out to be just the beginning, with hidden code lying in wait, ready to cause widespread damage at the perfect moment. To top it off, we published infographics that explain their Proof of Biometric Uniqueness in simple terms. This ELI5-style picture makes it easier for everyone to understand how Humanode verifies that each participant is a unique human being.

BotBasher for Telegram:
- Deep research into various APIs.
- Simple Proof of Concept (PoC) is operational, with testing phases ready to commence based on gathered numbers.
Substrate Update (v0942):
- Final preparations underway for shipping this update.
Humanode Enhancements:
- Updates shipped to it6 and testnet5, including peer-related facets.
- Humanode-Robonode it6 shipped.
- Automated test script implemented for verifying runtime upgrades in Humanode Playground.
FaceTec Updates:

The 5th chapter of the Humanode-inspired dystopian novel by Shannon Higgins, 2067 -the equilibrium - has arrived. The Book of Aki will take you into District 12, the center of technology and the ongoing hidden battle between the Community and the Conglomerates, who seem to secretly acquired the help of one of the supposedly “neutral” Awakened AIs to initiate an attack on the network at an unprecedented scale.
Last weekend, Part 3/4 of The Book of Aki dropped. The first seeds have been planted, and the attack has begun. Aki recognizes a familiar fingerprint behind the initial strike, knowing that what hit the Community was just the beginning… mere foreplay. Malicious code is now silently creeping into the devices of unsuspecting Community members, lying in wait for the perfect moment to unleash chaos.
