Hey everyone,

Over the past two weeks, we’ve been busy refining infrastructure, expanding cross-chain integrations, and strengthening the foundations of biometric Sybil resistance—so here’s what’s new from the team:

Cross-chain momentum is accelerating. Biomapper c1 is now live on Arbitrum, bringing fast and privacy-preserving biometric verification to one of Ethereum’s most active Layer-2s. It’s also deployed on the Janction testnet, an AI-focused L2 on JASMY, allowing developers to build human-verified apps from the start. We’ve recently added Hyperliquid and Story (don’t forget Sonic, Sei, Base, Filecoin, and Avalanche). Whether it's financial systems or intellectual property, Humanode’s Sybil resistance is quickly becoming a standard across Web3 ecosystems.

Meanwhile, we completed our regular biometric server reset, part of our six-month cycle to upgrade Biometric AI and reinforce privacy. This reset affected CVM, BotBasher, and Biomapper systems. Node runners must re-enroll and re-authenticate their nodes (no key rotation needed), and biomapped users and stakers should remap to continue claiming rewards. All previous biometric data has been permanently deleted. On Discord, BotBasher Gen 6 is now live—admins and users should upgrade to maintain access to verified channels. Telegram users will also need to relink accounts. These resets are essential to protect user data, prevent Sybil attacks, and ensure only active human nodes remain in the system.

On the research front, we’ve published a new piece outlining the final pillar of Humanode 1.0: building a future around verified people, not capital. With mainnet live, dApps emerging, and $10M raised, the path ahead is clear—and human. We also finalized a three-part research into alternative liveness providers to diversify beyond FaceTec and ensure long-term decentralization of biometric verification. Read Part 1, Part 2, Part 3.

The Humanode development team has been hard at work. Here’s what’s new:

🔃 Biometric Servers: Update & Reset

On April 3rd, 2025, Humanode completed a regular biometric server reset for Biometric AI upgrades, affecting CVM, BotBasher, and Biomapper.

Node Runners: You need to re-enroll and re-authenticate to keep your node active. No need to rotate keys.
LP Stakers & Biomapped Users: Please Biomap again to continue claiming rewards. Stakes are unaffected.
BotBasher (Telegram): Reverify and relink your TG account to access Sybil-resistant channels.

From small hops, to giant steps, to huge jumps. Biomapper c1 is on a roll, and things are about to go wilder. Today, we are happy to announce that the Humanode Biomapper c1 SDK is now available on Arbitrum.

For those of you who may not be tech-savvy, Arbitrum is a Layer-2 blockchain that speeds up and lowers the cost of transactions on Ethereum. And yes, for those of you who work with smart contracts or dapps, and know the pain of the gas fees on Ethereum, you understand why Arbitrum is so loved.

Arbitrum aims to enhance the scalability, security, and accessibility on the Ethereum, and already has 900+ dApps running on its chain.

So, it is only natural that we felt that the builders on Arbitrum would more than enjoy the utility, security, and Sybil-resistance that Biomapper brings!

With a few lines of code, builders on Arbitrum will be able to add the proven, private, and secure biometric authentication of Biomapper to their applications or services.

This may not seem exciting, that is, until you realize that your users will not have to jump through hoops or an unnecessary KYC process to verify that they are a real living human being, and that Sybil-resistance can bring new possibilities and business opportunities to Web3 services and De-Fi.

As the Humanode Biomapper c1 stands at the junction of absolute success, it finds its way on JANCTION, a popular L2 chain focusing on AI on JASMY, Japan's largest Web3 project. JANCTION is on their testnet, getting ready for mainnet launch.

With Biomapper on JANCTION testnet, apps and services being developed on JANCTION will be able to provide Sybil-resistance by utilizing the private and secure biometric authentication of Biomapper from the get go!

For those of you who are wondering what Story is all about, Story is a purpose-built layer 1 blockchain designed specifically for intellectual property. You can add usage terms to your IP that specify how others can use it.
